sherpa is a tibetan tribal family name originating in the alpine villages of the himalayan mountains. there are only eighteen sherpa tribes, all of which are essentially and inherently equal in power.

as sherpas are a tight knit community with a curiosity for family and history, the average sherpa family will be able to trace their roots back four hundred years or more. the name sherpa became synonymous with the first ascent of mt. everest in 1953 by sir edmund hillary and his essential sherpa guide, tenzing norgay. many sherpas are still mountain and trail guides today, and provide the most vital service to any adventurer.

like the sherpas of everest, our ultimate goal is to ascend: safely, efficiently and with great purpose. we are committed to the collaborative journey, the process and evolution of an idea and the perfect execution of a challenge. sherpas are ruled by a family code of honor and integrity, as are we, and are known to be some of the kindest, most diligent people on the planet. thus became sherpa productions: a small family of guides hoping to assist in the realization of others dreams, through hard work, passion and a sense of obligation.

we believe sherpas are model citizens of the earth and therefore, our motto...

...everyone needs a sherpa.
